Dr. Ahmed Abu Ismail Charitable Clinics
The Dr. Ahmed Abu Ismail Charitable Clinics opened on June 15, 2022 in the presence of the Governor of Gharbia, Dr. Tarik Rahmi, the President of Tanta University, Dr. Mahmoud Zaki, and the President of the Wafd Party, Dr. Abdel-Samad Yamama. The clinics provide medical consultations to the people of Samanoud and neighboring villages in various specialties such as ophthalmology, orthopedics, dermatology, neurology, cardiology, internal medicine, nutrition, and ear, nose and throat. There is also a laboratory and a dental clinic. Consultations are offered at a subsidized price, and medications are provided free of charge to those who cannot afford them. The clinics also include one of the latest MRI machines.
The Dr. Ahmed Abu Ismail Foundation has signed a cooperation protocol with the hospitals of Tanta and Mansoura Universities, which allows patients to be sent to these hospitals for further tests and surgeries. There is also an OCT eye device that performs CT scans on the front of the eye, on the center of vision, and on the optic nerve. The Foundation also communicates with relevant authorities to help needy patients undergo surgical operations at the expense of the state or health insurance.
